Metalworking
In our metal department we manufacture high-quality housings and metal plates made of corrosion-resistant aluminium. From metal cutting, bending, deburring and pressing in of nuts to laser engraving and final assembly – everything from one source.
Cable lengths
Our industrial drum unwinders with servo drives ensure automatic and absolutely tension-free rewinding from drum to ring or from drum to drum. Our certified and calibrated laser length measuring system always guarantees an accurate and even cable length.
Soldering
In our soldering department we only use lead-free and environmentally friendly solder with professional solder wire feed systems. Our employees work at ergonomic workplaces with glare-free light and state-of-the-art solder fume extraction systems.
Crimping
Crimping creates homogeneous and gas-tight connections between conductor and crimp contact. Due to our huge range of crimping tools we can crimp the most different cable cross sections and thus always ensure a stable connection.
Printing and marking
For the marking of metal housings, we use the latest laser technology. With our 180° laser we are also able to mark round connector housings with the number of channels or your company logo. For printing on both sides of shrink sleeves, we use the inkjet or pad printing process.
Every product that leaves the KLOTZ manufacture is tested in an individual process using electrical, continuity and geometry tests for its electrical function and possible assembly errors.
All measurement results are logged, documented and stored in an audit-proof manner in accordance with the applicable standards and regulations.
